As always, if you have questions or need help planning  your  party, please call. We will give you some information and good ideas with no hard sell. We promise.

We’ll get right to the point. If you have a group for a bachelor party that wants to have dinner and a fun but well-behaved evening out-enjoying and respecting our unique historic property, we can do a memorable bachelor party for you. If there is any chance that the well-behaved and respecting part of the last statement could be in question, then we can’t help you. Some ideas for bachelor parties that have worked well in the past:

  • Bring the bachelor to one of our feasts in the Catacombs restaurant. The humor is a little bawdy, the entertainers will help to make him feel special, and the show includes a full dinner which is a very good way to start off a bachelor party evening. After the show a few drinks in our popular pub, The Bottling Works, is a nice way to continue the evening. Depending upon what night you are here, we usually have live entertainment or karoke in the pub.
  • You may be able to rent the original barroom in the Victorian hotel part of Bube’s Brewery. We are able to make this historic tap room available to private groups depending upon date availability. A special dinner could be planned in the Alois dining room and after dinner the party of men could retire to the bar just as they did here in the 19th century. A tour of the building that includes history, brewing, and lore can be added to the time after dinner if the group is interested. For history buffs, this option is hard to beat anywhere.
  • The Inn at Bube’s Brewery can be rented for overnight lodging. We rent the Inn as a floor, not by the room, and the cost is $900.00 plus tax. There are eight regular rooms and one large bedroom/gathering  room that has a bar and kitchenette area. This is a modern usage of an original 19th century hotel floor that at one time had ten rooms sharing one bathroom. We now have three bathrooms for the nine rooms and it adequately accommodates  guests that know one another with ease. Groups that rent the hotel usually come to dinner in one of our restaurants first and can enjoy our facility for the evening without the concern of driving home. We can even set up a small keg of our house beer or other beverages in the hotel if so desired. No food or beverages may be brought into our establishment.
  • Many of our ideas come from the requests of our guests, and an often requested option in the past few years is the Bachelor/Bachelorette Party. Basically it is a party with both the boys and the girls in attendance. Usually the groups that have done it have a party with food or come to one of our feasts or murder mystery dinners and have a party afterward. Sometimes they have games at the party which involve both the boys and the girls. If you like the idea and need some suggestions we can tell you about many of the fun things your predecessors have done.
